What makes TBC different than the competition is rooted in our ground floor beginnings. We started off as subcontractors - focusing on one specific trade.

Then, we went to 10 different trades. We learned each channel by going through those motions every step of the way - what it took to swing the hammer, manage each specific trade, and develop the skillset hand first working on the site. Through channel exploration we made the crossover from subcontractor to general contractor. The key reason for this is we got to work intimately with other companies and learn from what they did wrong, how complicated and incorrect their forms were, how they handled their customers without care, and how they lacked in proper billing processes. We were privileged to experience the shady side of the industry!

 

Upon making the transfer to general contractor, our mission was to set the tone of difference and use the negative experiences we saw to create better practices that are more efficient and honest.

All of our projects have detailed, custom Gantt charts. This is one of the biggest kickers for us! 

Whenever we have an estimate, the customer says, "Hey, this is what I want to do, this looks good, let's move forward. Type up the contract." We get with our operations team, lay out the whole project from every specific division trade. This determines the start date of a project to the end date of a project. We then process the timeline into the Gantt chart. The project completion date we determine goes into the contract, dividing up payment terms- meaning we are collecting money throughout the project so that our company profits are not taken until the completion of the project.

This strict planning and payment terms process holds our hand to the fire, giving you security in your financial draws staying consistent with the progress of your project. Still not convinced that we do things differently? Within our contract, we provide an accountability penalty clause for our project end dates; providing our clients peace of mind.

 

We do not float jobs, we do not leave our job sites motionless, we do not take on more than we can chew.
